About Our Company

Pruitt Property Inspection, Inc. was started by Steve and Dana Pruitt in April of 1991 after a nineteen-year career in home-building in Lexington. As the business grew, we added four other Lexington builders to our staff, Dave Adkins, Larry Sills, Finley Stamatis, and Steve Nance. We think home-building provides an excellent background and perfect lead-in to home inspection and that experience is an important asset. When you have Pruitt Property Inspection, Inc. inspect your house, you're assured of having a former builder doing the job.

Our Home Inspection Philosophy

We view the home inspection process as an expression of our client's right to be as fully informed as possible about the condition of a property. We attempt to be sensitive to the rights, needs and interests of all parties involved in a real estate transaction, though our primary concern is for our client. We focus on structural integrity, mechanical integrity and safety.
